1. How is Berrylite frozen yogurt different from others?

Berrylite is different because it is 100% authentic fat-free yogurt, made exclusively in the USA and there are more than 50 flavors to choose from!

Our frozen yogurt is 100% real frozen yogurt filled with billions of live and active cultures. It contains all the natural goodness of yogurt, which includes calcium, protein and probiotics. It is free from common additives like high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavoring and coloring.

All Berrylite frozen yogurt is manufactured in a fully licensed U.S. dairy, and pasteurized under USDA certification and inspection and under organic and kosher certification.

The most stringent levels of regulatory compliance are maintained, and all inspection standards including, but not limited to USDA, FDA, Military Standards, food safety audits and export requirements are met and usually exceeded.

Berrylite yogurt is certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization and is kosher-free too.

2. What do you mean by REAL (authentic) frozen yogurt?
All Berrylite frozen yogurts meet the National Yogurt Association’s criteria in the USA for Live and Active Culture yogurt, and contain high levels of:

? Streptococcus Thermophilus
? Lactobacillus Bulgaricus
? Lactobacillus Lactis
? Lactobacillus Acidophilus

? Bifidobacterium

At the time of manufacturing, Berrylite yogurts contain at least 10 million cultures per gram (CPG) of yogurt. Our original flavor contains more than 400 million live and active probiotics at the time of manufacturing and is never heat-treated after culturing.

3. What are live and active cultures?
Live and Active Cultures are also known as probiotics (which means “for life”). They are friendly bacteria that help you digest food better and build your immune system. The living organisms are similar to those that naturally exist in our digestive systems. Hence, they protect our bodies against viruses and harmful bacteria that cause illnesses.

4. I’m lactose-intolerant, can I consume Berrylite yogurt?
Yes, of course! The stomach upset caused by milk in every lactose-intolerant individual is due to lactose, which is the milk sugar in pasteurized milk. Yogurt comes from fermenting pasteurized milk with live and active cultures. During fermentation, the cultures break down the milk sugars. Therefore, those who are lactose-intolerant can enjoy Berrylite yogurt without experiencing any gastrointestinal discomfort.

Note: Only a minimal amount of lactose is present in the yogurt.

5. How did you make your frozen yogurt 100% fat-free?
Our yogurt is made only from nonfat milk from USA.
